Yerevan to Host the World Cup of Kyokushin Karate for Clubs 2026

On April 25–26, 2026, the city of Yerevan, Armenia will welcome athletes from around the world for the World Cup of Kyokushin Karate for Clubs. The competition will be staged at the Gazprom Armenia Educational Sport Complex and promises two days of high-level kumite action.

The event is organized by Shihan Andranik Hakobyan (5th Dan), IFK Armenia, and is officially supported by the National Olympic Committee of Armenia and the National Non-Olympic Sports Association of Armenia.

Competitors will be divided into categories for children, juniors, men, and women, ensuring wide participation across all age groups and weight divisions. The tournament will be run under the rules of the Armenian Kyokushin Karate Federation, and the best fighters will be awarded cups, medals, and diplomas.

Registration is managed through Kumite Technology, with early sign-ups before December 30, 2025, benefiting from reduced fees. All preliminary applications must be submitted by March 20, 2026.

The championship aims not only to determine the strongest competitors but also to promote Kyokushin karate, encourage youth participation, and strengthen international friendship within the martial arts community.
